We
fell in love with Sibley the first time we met her! When we went to
pick her out, she ran outside with her brothers and sisters and fell
asleep right next to us. In the two years since Sibley has joined our
family, she has loved us unconditionally. She is the most caring dog we've
ever met and is kind to other humans and animals.
Sibley loves to be outdoors. Whether she's hiking in the Adirondack
mountains, swimming in the lake, or at the dog park, she gets so excited
that she drools (only a little)! She has an easy-going and playful
personality that other dogs love. She always makes new friends of all
different sizes when she's at the dog park.
While Sibley is a golden retriever, she doesn't like to retrieve much.
She's never been one to fetch a ball, yet she has the uncanny ability to
find baseballs at our local park. She'll sniff one out of the woods and
show it off to us, but when we try throwing it, she looks at us with a
look that reads, "You're kidding right?" All she wants is to carry her new
discovery home and add it to her toy collection.
When not enjoying the outdoors, Sibley likes to chase her brother (Sonny
the Cat) and dine on the occasional chewy bone. We're so happy we found
Sibley and we know she couldn't be happier to have found us. She's a great
dog and we love her so much!
