Woof!
My name is "AJ Frank N Bean," but I go by AJ. I am seven years old - going
to be eight on December 30th (almost a New Year's Eve pup)! I am a Landseer
Newfoundland, which means I look like a small, hairy Holstein cow - and am
always on the Mooove!
I am a rescue - my father was a black Newfoundland (show dog and champion)
but the show person wanted me destroyed, since she said I was "defective"
by only having one testicle. But the breeder did not want me destroyed,
and found a great home for me, with a family who had two St. Bernards and
used to have a Newfoundland, too. Tom and Red took me in, and I loved
having my two Saintly buddies: Howard A Hunkapup and Annabella A B. Barkus.
We have five wooded acres to romp, chase and play in - plus I have my own
"AJ's Awesome Express" a dump body golf cart, that I get daily cruises in
and thrill rides in - being dumped with landscape trimmings (and they said
Disney was fun)! I love to run in the rain, bath time, swimming and
anything to get wet! As a pup I also was in charge of walking the dogs
(shown here walking AnnaBella - with Howie following along).
One of the pictures is me holding one of my favorite toys, "Wammie." You
can never have too many toys, I think. In another one I am playing with my
two Saintly buddies (Howard's the one I am tackling and AnnaBella is
running in to play). Another is me swimming in Florida, I love going to
the lake to swim - I CAN'T WAIT TO GET WET!
My two Saintly buddies have become angels, but I now have three smaller
buddies. Moana "MoMo" MauMau, Hiss "Sophie" Porkbelly and "BOB" Meowzer
(my Bestest Buddies - a Manx cat the thinks he is a dog, he has "issues!)
have adopted me. So I give bronco rides to these three felines, play, eat
and sleep with them. They may be a lot smaller in size - but they are fun
too. I have lots of K9 buddies also that I play with in the neighborhood
and have even been a "Star" in a small film. I even have a fan club and
may get my own Facebook page (Bow WOW!). So I'm earning my kibble, living
life large and loving it! I have a Woof-terful life and love my family and
friends (both furry and human)!
