I
would like to introduce our dog Roxie Jazz. Roxie is extremely special
to us because she is part of the family! Our lives were forever changed
the minute we brought her home when she was only eight weeks old. We quickly
learned that a house is not a home without a dog!
It is tradition for us to think of new Halloween costume ideas for her,
although if it were up to Roxie she would rather have the treats without
the costume. We're hoping her picture will brighten your day, with a smile
and a few laughs too.
Roxie has a sweet disposition and she is extremely smart. My husband and I
have taught her a few tricks like dancing in a circle on her hind legs,
she smiles and shows her teeth when prompted, and even knows her toys by
their name! She loves to play tug-of-war with some of her toys, and when
she is done playing with them, she hides them under our bed. If I find a
toy that is under our bed and I bring it back to her toy box, she will
immediately go to the toy box, take it out and put it back under the bed.
Her best friend is our seven-year-old niece McKenzie, who always remembers
to bring her pillow for Roxie to sleep on when she stays over at our
house. Roxie will sleep right next to her, making sure that she is safe
the whole night through! She isn't very talkative, especially for a
Chihuahua, but don't let her silence mislead you... she rules the house. :-)
PS: She was rewarded for allowing us to take this cute picture of her, she
really is a very good girl!
