Down
in Florida, a little less than two years ago, my mom found a little
pitbull puppy with no home and no one to love her on a sidewalk. She took
her in with intent to find her home and my mom ended up falling in love
with this little pup. She named her Suka (Soo-Kuh) and took her back home
to Rhode Island where she met my family. Just like my mom, I loved Suka
the moment I saw her. She is so loving and sweet, I couldn't imagine
anyone feeling any different. Even though she is such a nice-hearted dog,
she is always there to protect, too. I always feel safe when I'm with her
even if she wouldn't hurt a fly. She's a good sized, strong dog, but she
thinks she's a lap dog the way she cuddles with us while watching tv or
laying in bed. And she will never deny you a hug or a kiss as long as you
give them back. She is a big part of my family's life and she always will
be. We love her and even though she can 't say it back we know she loves us too!
