Heidi
is a really special dog because she is loyal, affectionate,
playful, sensitive, energetic, and cute. She follows us everywhere and
knows all of our names, so if we say "go get Mommy!" she'll run to her
and look at us with a triumphant little "smile". She is so affectionate!
She can hear us sit on the couch and when she hears us, she comes
running and waits for us to put her on the couch next to us, then
cuddles up against us in a teeny ball. She's really energetic and
playful, but not so energetic that she gets annoying. If she wants to
play but we don't have time to play with her, she'll play by herself by
tossing the toy in the air and catching it. Her current favorite toy is
a soft little stuffed pig.
Heidi's really sensitive to our feelings. She can always tell when we
are sad, and she comes over and cuddles us and gives us lots and lots of
kisses. When we are happy or excited, she gets all excited, even though
she has no clue why we're excited, and starts giving us high fives (we
put our hand up and she'll hit it with her paw.) Heidi is also just
all-around cute! She has a cute little face with a crooked nose and a
crooked little "smile". When Heidi was a really little puppy, we got her
a toy that was Barney, and he had overalls on with a small horse in the
pocket. Heidi absolutely loved Barney! She wouldn't sleep without him.
She loved to play with the horse, and when she did play with it, she was
careful not to bite Barney, and if she accidentally did, she would look
at him with a look that said "Are you okay?", give him a lick, then
continue playing with the horse. We cut the horse out to make it easier
on her, but sadly we eventually had to throw Barney out because he got
dirty. She was so sad that day. Barney was her favorite sleeping buddy
ever! As you can see, Heidi is a really special dog and my family and I
love her very much.
