Buddy
is a four and a half year old, 74-pound retired racing greyhound.
He came to me from another home; his previous owner fell victim to
today's economy and ended up losing his home and therefore couldn't keep
Buddy. When Buddy came here the first nite, he was very confused and
scared. In the six weeks that I have had him, he has become a sweet and
loving pup. He is very playful and active and loves his stuffed bunny!
He gets along very well with my other Greyhound, Jenny, who is fourteen years
old and deaf. He knows she has special needs and watches over her.
When I heard of Buddy's plight, I knew I had to see him and I wanted to
give him the warm and loving home that he deserved. It has been one of
the best decisions I have ever made. He fits in perfectly, and I am
looking forward to many years of fun, love and companionship with my
"Buddy."
Greyhounds make the best pets in the world! I will always have a
greyhound in my life. Besides adopting a new best friend, it is 'greyt'
knowing that I also saved a life! As they say, "Fall in love with a
long legged beauty, adopt a greyhound!"
