This
is Marley - named after the one and only Bob Marley. I have had him
since he was a puppy, my parents have his mom and dad, he has turned out
to be a wonderful dog. He's a cockapoo - that's a Cocker Spaniel/Poodle
mix. He is definitely a "mamma's boy" he won't do anything all day, he
waits until I get home. My boyfriend tries to get him to go out in the
back yard and he won't even do that, he waits until I get home. He is very
spoiled! He loves to go for walks and to the dog park every Sunday. He
gets along great with everybody and all other dogs. He is terrified of
thunder and fireworks, he runs and hides in the bathroom. He has a mini
tennis ball that has to go everywhere with him, which drives me crazy. He
loves to ride in the car and go everywhere he possibly can.
He broke his leg in 2007 by jumping out of my car after a bunny rabbit! He
was the biggest baby when he had his cast on and cried the entire night.
His favorite toy is this huge purple and orange stuffed animal, he has
claimed it as his "best friend." He does have a real girlfriend which is a
black miniature schnauzer named Maddie, they have grown up together and he
goes crazy when he hears her name. He has a Shih-Tzu brother, Barney which
is his little shadow and two cat brothers, Smokey and Kingston. They all get
along great.
You don't realize how much you love animals until you get one of your own.
Marley has definitely made me more aware of all animal issues - good or
bad, especially in my neighborhood. If you see animal neglect, please
report it - all animals deserve to be showered with lots and lots of love.
