Introducing Keen Eye Woof, my year-old Border Collie, Husky mix. And now the easy part, I get to explain to you why my Keen Eye is so special. Well, I got "Kenai" off of the Street one fabulous day in Santa Cruz. I didn't have the means to take care of him, but I fell in love the moment I saw him! Originally I had named him after an island in Alaska called Kenai, I wanted to pretend that naming him an Alaskan name would honor the Husky in him. But so often his name was confused for him having "Keen Eyes." I always joked around that he was a Keen Eye never thinking any relevance was coming out of it. But then he was in an accident which resulted in me selling almost everything I own, just so the vets could "Try and save him." It ended with him loosing one of his eyes, so beautiful eyes, now the irony is he actually is Keen Eye, so I changed the spelling to his name to honor his one beautiful eye that's left! Also to prove to the world that Keen Eye and I are bound to the soul, I had an accident on November 12th that almost cost me my life, a month later on December 12th, Keen Eye had his accident, that almost cost him his life. We are both saved together and both happy happy people!

Keen eye is honestly one of a kind. Although he probably don't know it, he is a noble animal. Every time you pet him on the head he raises his one eye to the sky, as if he's proud, ha ha, it's so adorable! He loves to dress up with his momma, we match all the time. He also loves laying on top of people's feet.

He's not a super crazy protective dog, he barely ever barks unless you get him all excited and he wants to play. Then he'll let out a Woof or two. He loves basketball, tag and hide and seek. He does his best with all of it, regardless of his one eye. He now tilts his head side ways to make up for his one lost side of sight.

My favorite "trick" is when he brings me his food bowl every night when he's hungry. He loves giving me high fives too! He is so well behaved I haven't come across one person who doesn't think he is the most handsome, well-behaved baby boy. He is very affectionate! He isn't a whiner but when he's lonely he will find me and quietly follow me around to be with me!
