This
is Honey. I don't know how old she is, I rescued her from the
animal shelter in California. She is an Irish Setter and is beautiful,
inside and out! She never does anything wrong or bad, in fact she
doesn't even bark!! I have terminal cancer and I think she saved me more
than I saved her, because now I have a reason to wake up every morning.
I thank God for sending this wonderful companion to me.
Honey really loves me and if I go somewhere she makes her worried ears
and looks all over for me. She is so sweet and so spoiled! She knows if
she sits pretty and "prays", she will get a cookie! She knows sit,
down,stand and come. Also shake and sit pretty. Honey's personality is
soft and she falls apart at any correction, thank goodness she doesn't
need any!
When the weather is good she loves to go bicycling with me.She also
enjoys riding in the car, especially to Petsmart. She watches the furry
hamsters for hours. We go there when it's raining and there's nothing to
do. She has a huge toy box and "goes shopping" constantly. My sister buys
her a surprise almost every day! I have the sweetest dog anyone could
want. I encourage anyone who is thinking about getting a dog, to rescue
one from a breed rescue group. If the dog isn't what you were looking
for, they will take it back and find a forever home for it.
