Holmes
was born on May 5, 2001. I found Holmes (at the time his name was
Brownie, pretty unoriginal) on a visit to the Fairfax County Animal
Shelter. Holmes had been dropped off the night before by his owners who
realized after they got him that a puppy was a little too much work.
Holmes was nine weeks old when he came home with me. He has been a great dog
and companion over the years.
He has a great disposition and makes everyone smile. Holmes is famous for
running around in circles (both directions) when he gets excited. He had
knee surgery on both knees about a year and a half ago and now is the
Bionic Dog! He loves to walk, hike, and curl up on the rug. He is the best
and cutest dog ever!
