Rascal
is very special to us and has a unique personality that puts a
smile on your face! He is extremely loyal and has a wonderful sense for
providing comfort and companionship to his owners when times are rough.
Recently, Rascal developed severe seizures and was diagnosed with
epilepsy. He is on medication daily, however continues at times to suffer
from seizures, leaving him scared and disoriented after each episode.
Despite his medical condition, Rascal maintains his colorful personality,
and is always available for his quirky facial expressions and actions. He
provides us with extreme joy and is a very important part of our family.
He is very patient and polite and will wait for permission to perform
routine actions, including resting his head on the edge of the bed until
he is invited up onto the bed. He is always present to provide company
when someone is taking a shower, lying patiently on the bathroom rug. He
has a following of admirers including three of our cats, who enjoy cuddling up
to him, giving him a bath, and "playing" with him, while he might not
enjoy it as much as they do, he puts up with all of it. We love him dearly
and are so blessed by all that he adds to our lives!
