Meet
my Sam. He was born on May 1, 1997, and has been with us since he was
nine weeks old. We brought him home right after July 4, and ever since he
has brought nothing but happiness for our family, and everyone that he
meets. All the neighbors know Sam. All the kids know his name, and give
him daily hugs, The mail lady, the lawn keeper, the delivery drivers, all
stop to say hello, and he instantly puts a smile on their face!! He is
just so happy to see you, you can't help but smile.
He loves to swim, and chase and retrieve anything, especially sticks. As
he gets on in years he has slowed down, and doesn't run the way he use to.
But he still has enough energy to come upstairs every night for his
biscuits before bed, and his morning biscuit with peanut butter. He never
misses!
The first picture was taken at Bear Mountain State Park in New York, after
a day of hiking and swimming, which is why he's damp. We also included a
picture of him in earlier days, with his good friend Gustov, who we love
and miss very much.
