This
is Darby, a.k.a. Darby Lou or Lou Lou. She is the nicest and most
well-trained dog we have ever had. Her favorite thing to do is ride in the
car or go on a walk. She also loves to play a good game of 'chase' with
her boys. When Darby came to her home at age twelve weeks old, there were no
children in the household. Since she's been here, we've had two children.
She has loved them both since the first time she saw them. She has never
been jealous or aggressive... rather is always loving and protective.
Darby is definitely her 'mommy's dog'. She follows mommy everywhere,
'talks' to mommy, only eats when mom is in the house, and chooses to do
whatever mommy is doing also. I couldn't imagine a better best friend in
the world. I love this dog!!!
She's the love of our lives, the best baby girl in the world. She hit the
lottery of abandoned dogs... she and her two littermates were left in a
box in front of a Wal-Mart. The local news featured a story about the
three abandoned puppies. That's when we saw her face and fell in love. We
travelled to Northern Kentucky the next day to see her. Two days later,
she was ours. She came home to two older dogs and gave them a run for
their money. They have since passed and now she is the only dog in the
house and she definitely likes it that way. Darby and I will forever be connected.
