Annie
is fourteen years old and smarter than most people! We got Annie in
Mesa, Arizona and she was only five weeks old. She was the cutest puppy. She has
helped me raise three kids, one cat and two black labs (sadly we lost one
of our labs to cancer). Annie likes to spend time with her kids or resting
in my bed. Annie loves to play hide and go seek with the kids and cat. She
is always "it" and manages to find the kids and cat every single time.
Annie loves to play fetch with a tennis ball or frisbee.
Annie lives for the winter time. She actually gets more excited about the
snow than my kids! She's a great watch dog too. Every day Annie does what
we call the perimeter patrol around our yard morning and night to be sure
there is nothing new or out of place in the yard. Annie is able to pick
raspberries off the bushes in our yard. She smells them and gets the ripe
ones before us. Annie understands English (I swear!) and loves to eat
peanuts. Annie is an independent dog who likes to be the boss of our cat
and black lab. She is very affectionate and protective but a bit cautious
until she is comfortable with you. Annie is pretty sure she is a person not a dog!
