Kiba
was a very adorable puppy and I had to have when I saw
him. I had just moved, and we had a bigger home, leaving room for a new
member of the family. I saw him at the pet store, and convinced my dad to
visit him. My dad, the big tough guy, melted when he held this pup, and
purchased him for me, despite the fact that we had always said we would never
buy a dog from a pet store, where they're most likely from Puppy Mills.
At first, Kiba was an aggressive puppy, snarling and trying
to bite us when we did something he did not like. He grew out of it easily,
and with socialization, turning into the great, lazy, cuddly dog he is now.
Despite that, he's really skittish, and is scared of a lot
of things such as balloons, snowmen, CDs, and new items he's never seen. He
is also terrified of most adults he didn't grow up around, and teenagers, yet
he loves children, and that is all we wanted in this dog.
He's grown from a pup always demanding attention, to a laid
back, happy, lazy adult dog that I love to cuddle with and call my brother.
The picture with snow all over him, is when he was a puppy,
and the others are more recent, all in the snow.
