I
would like to introduce you to my dog Abbi, she is a Border Collie and
Labrador mix. I had recently lost my pet when I was looking for her. I
remember coming home one day and there she was, a frightened pup but
gorgeous! My sister found her in ad and then went the same day to fetch her.
She is a really loving dog and smart too, I taught her to sit, lie down,
roll, give paw, wave, moon turn in circles and so forth. She loves to be
close to people and would do anything to be with them. She regularly jumps
over the fence in the back to be in the front and then she would climb
through a open window to come inside. She is a very relaxed dog so when she
is in the house and gets away with it she will be laying on the coach dozing
away.
She has one weakness so far and that is our cats, we have three of them and
she is totally addicted. The moment the cats come along she will stop
whatever she is doing and start following the cat. She even sometimes tries
to herd them where she wants them to be or else she would just keep staring
at them. Luckily the cats know how to handle her they just walk really slowly
and then they get where they want to be.
She is also crazy about swimming she would jump in our pool quite often even
if it is middle of winter. The only thing is though her paws always has to
touch the ground, she never goes in too deep. She is really such an amazing
animal and really loving.
