Dirkus
is the best dog and friend I could ever wish to have! We live in
Houston, Texas and have for all of our lives. So many things make Dirkus
the most special pet in the whole wide world, but if I had to choose just
a few, I would have to say it was his handsome looks, his funny
personality, and his unconditional love.
As far as English Bull Terriers go, Dirkus is pretty rare. Bull Terriers
coats are commonly all white. Target's mascot and Spuds McKenzie are
examples of this typical coloring for Bull Terriers. However, Dirkus is a
full Brindle Bull Terrier, not often seen. He is 60 pounds and is very
strong. Often times people are a little afraid of him at first sight, but
he soon wins them over with his loving personality and happy spirit.
Often times my husband and I love to just sit back and be entertained by
him. He loves to chase his tail and use the grass as a back scratcher. The
love of his life is the tennis ball, and his worst enemy is any cat.
For the six years that he has been in my life, he has been at my side at all
times. He is always happy to see me, no matter what mood I'm in, or what I
look like in the morning. He is a true loyal companion and my best friend.
