This
is Lucy on the day that we adopted her from the humane society. She
is the best dog ever! She is my best friend. Even if I am having a bad
day, when I go home she is there to make me happy.
Lucy is my constant companion. She is my wake up call, my workout buddy,
my lunch date, and my teddy bear at bed time. I feel like my life was
incomplete before her. I believe everything happens for a reason and it
was no coincidence that we walked in to the humane society that day and
meet her. She was brought to us for a reason, to keep me company or to
teach me a lesson.
Her day starts out with a 40-minute walk and then back to bed for a
little while, she enjoys Solid Gold dry food throughout the day. She has
two food and water bowls in the house. One in the kitchen and one in the
bedroom just in case she gets the nighttime munchies. When her dadda
wakes up, they watch cartoons and play with her toys all morning. Then
she takes her afternoon nap and waits for her momma to return home. Then
we go for another 40 minute walk. Then it is dinner, bath, and bed time.
Lucy travels every where with us. She has been to the Grand Canyon,
hiking in the mountains in Tucson, Michigan, and the dog beach in
Huntington Beach, California. She is a good traveler and loves making new friends.
