Meet
Buster, our Black lab. He is extremely loving and snuggly, he will cuddle
up beside me on the sofa any day. His challenge when we brought him home
was the twelve stairs to the upper level of our home, but he is great at
that now. He has learned lots of commands and he has made friends with the
dog next door and they play together in the yard sometimes. Buster is a
great conversation starter and anyone who sees him on walks will come to
pet him and start asking me what his name is. He is very friendly too and
he politely walks by other dogs without starting much of a barking
uproar.
He is growing to be a pretty big, but good boy---he has those huge lab
paws, they were especially huge when he came home at seven weeks old. We love him!
It was on February 28th when we went looking for a new puppy. We saw
Buster on a breeder ad and we arranged to meet a Lab breeder. We saw the
whole litter of six puppies with two boys and four girls. Buster had the special
something after I played with him for a while and I knew he was the right
puppy, so we ended up bringing him home with us. We named him Buster
because he is black and we named him after a dessert my mom used to make
called the "black oreo Buster," that would be how he got his name. He is
just a wonderful boy!
