Hi,
my name is Star, I'm a German Shorthaired Pointer and I'll be a year old
on September 30th, 2010. My dad named me Star because of the star I have on
my chest. My Mom calls me Bubby a lot of the time but Dad doesn't like it
when she does that. I live in a family of 9 German Shorthair Pointers, my
Grandma Molly, Great Aunt Perky, my Mom Chewy, Aunt Alley, Uncle Rooster,
brothers Kodi and Mr. Bones and my little sister Tessie.
Mom says if we weren't so well behaved she'd never be able to have 9 of us.
So we try our best to behave ourselves but we can be a little mischievous
from time to time. She tells Dad all the time that she needs a revolving door
on the house because one of us is either needing or wanting in or out, we
keep Mom and Dad pretty busy. My favorite hobby of course is bird hunting
(Dad would be mad if I didn't say that) but I'm not a morning kind of guy, I
love the weekends because I can sleep in with my Mom. We are lucky Shorthairs
because Mom and Dad take us to the lake house on the weekends. My next
favorite things to do are boating and swimming. We all get to go on boat
rides and get to swim and play in the water. We seem to get a lot of
attention from fellow boaters, they act like they've never seen a boat with 9
Shorthairs on it. Go figure! We love to play on the old dam in front of our
house, too - we guard if from the ducks and geese. As you can see we're very
happy Shorthairs!
