Sam
is our yellow lab we adopted from a Nevada, Missouri animal shelter. He
was full grown, which is what we wanted, a dog out of the puppy stage! He came
home with us already with the name Sam, the shelter workers must have dubbed
him Sam because they said he was a stray when he came to the shelter. We had
him neutered, and he already was leash trained, and he became a very good pet.
Sam is the kind of dog that you want to talk to in a very goofy way, because
he is a goofy, funny dog! We are grateful that we found Sam on the internet
through a site called petfinder.com, after we had him neutered, it dropped his
adoption fee to only $10!
Our family has gotten a very good bargain, since we love him so! We are
thinking he is around five years old, we live in the southeast corner of Kansas,
near a town called Pittsburg. Sam has a peculiar habit of bringing trash into
the yard, from people littering, mostly he will bring in aluminum cans, which
we recycle! Sam is a friendly dog, who was agreeable when I had him pull our four
year old on the sled last winter, he was a natural sled dog.
