This
is Scout. She is a seven-month-old blue merle Cardigan Welsh Corgi. For
people who don't know, Cardigans are the Corgis that have tails, there are
other differences but that's the most noticeable difference between a
Pembroke and a Cardigan. She lives in Saratoga County, New York. Both her
doggie parents are AKC champions. But Scout is special because she is a
naturally well-mannered dog who makes her owner forget all her troubles.
As a Cardigan, Scout is instinctively obedient, and looks to me for
direction. She is a working breed so she is independent, but she never strays
from her people. She is extremely playful and her favorite game is chase.
She yodels when she's happy to see you, which is unmistakable joy! And she is
smart, too, she loves to bury her bones in the garden for safe keeping. Even
though she has short legs, she is every bit a big dog. And she has a big
voice, too - as you can tell from her video!
