Chloe
is our special pet because... well, her looks say it all! She is
very stubborn as far as training goes, typical Basset Hound, but she will
play with any dog she meets. She is that friendly. She does know "sit,"
but that is basically it. Chloe also knows when it is time to go for a
walk which means she won't leave until she plays with dogs. Chloe does not
leave our cat, Calli, alone; she keeps trying to play with her but our cat
keeps swatting her, though she doesn't scratch her. It just happened two
seconds ago as I was typing this.
Chloe doesn't quite get the concept of playing fetch; Chloe doesn't bring
her toy back if she doesn't feel like it. Our basset loves playing with
her very own soccer ball, it has a bunch of holes and has yellowed over
time, but it still is her very favorite. She is the most spoiled and
muscular basset you will ever meet!
