Huckleberry is a very loving cuddly labra-doodle. He loves to take long walks
and visit people. He is very gentle and also loves dog cookies! His dad was
a apricot Standard Poodle, and his mom was a Black Lab. He is very alert, and
ready to greet everyone with a bark and a lick.
As for his personality, he is very affectionate, gentle, and loves to cuddle.
He is also very attentive to anyone who is speaking to him, he seems to be
listening. He loves to be with people, and loves to play with other dogs. As
for tricks... he is very well trained, he does the normal, sit, stay, and
down. He is an excellent catcher. He will run as fast and he can to catch a
ball, and bring it back to you. He loves to catch even tiny things, like
peanuts and popcorn. We say "Huckleberry, 1, 2, 3... catch" and he is right on
it! He doesn't miss. His absolute favorite thing to do is lay on our bed,
sometimes under the covers. Huckleberry goes to the groomer about every two
months for a hair cut. He does not shed like a Lab, he needs to have his hair
cut or "groomed" like a Poodle does, or he will turn into a very wooly boy!
When he was a little, new, puppy, every time we took him outside to go potty,
we would ring a bell that we hung on our doorknob. When Huckleberry was three
months old, one night while we were eating dinner, all of the sudden we heard
the bell ring! We looked at the door and there was Huckleberry waiting to go
out! After that, he has always rug the bell to go outside, the cute thing is,
as he has gotten older, he also rings the bell when he wants to eat, have a
treat or anytime he wants to get our attention!
