My
name is Lucy and I am very sweet! I just had a birthday on September 22nd and am a
big five years old now. I got a cake and extra treats; it was a really good day. I
wasn't planned but my Mom tells me how much she loves me every day. A family my Mom knew
couldn't give me enough attention so she adopted me on a whim. Now she likes to say that
we are a blessing to each other. I am very easy going and am happy wherever I am! I love
to go for rides in the car, to the lake near our house to swim, and to the dog park. I
also like to chase cats but it gets me into trouble. You would think as a lab that I
would like to fetch, but I don't. When I'm outside I'm too busy exploring and digging
holes. I will chase toys in the house all day though (the hardwood floors add a little
more fun!). I do not have any siblings but it's okay, I like all of the attention. I
have a lot of friends that I go to visit. There is a Popsicle shop in town that sells
popsicles for dogs - on really good days Mom will take me there. That is my favorite
treat. She is my best friend, and I am hers too.
