Hi!
My name is Rosco and I came to live with my forever Mom three years ago. Before then
I had to live in a crate in a dark mud room. I wasn't allowed outside at all and had to
do all my business on paper. I wasn't allowed out of the crate very often but when I was
it didn't last long because when I would try to play, I got yelled at and sent back to
my crate. It wasn't much fun and I was very lonely. Thankfully, those folks were going
to have a baby and they gave me away to my forever Mom. Boy, what a difference - it was
like winning the lottery!
My new Mom taught me how to go outside and that was a whole new world. I learned to
chase birds and squirrels, well once I got used to grass that is, and how to run up and
down the steps. I learned to walk on a leash and sit and lay down and shake. I had two
beds that weren't in a crate. I got to play all I wanted to with new toys and balls. At
night, I wasn't alone anymore because I got to sleep with Mom and my sister, Bad Lucy,
who is a Brat Terror, oh sorry, a Rat Terrier. I was the happiest little boy in the
world. And just when I thought it couldn't get any better, Mom got married and now I
have a Dad who loves me and leaves me in charge when he goes to work. My job now is to
protect Mom and my sisters, Bad Lucy and Bitsy, and the homestead. I take my job very
seriously and I love my Mom and Dad and my home very much. I say prayers every night
that all my canine and feline friends could be as lucky as me.
Take care! Bye Bye!
