After
spending eight months at the Baltimore County Humane Society, Luckyman found
a new home. He's a nature lover. Whenever he's not chasing squirrels and
rabbits or eating acorns, he likes to relax in front of the garage. He's a
good-natured friend to all who know him.
Luckyman's personality - he likes everyone he meets. He's affectionate and
really enjoys being with people. He's laid back and relaxed, content just to be
wherever you are. He likes to show off for the neighbors. They like to watch
him road race around the back yard. I've never seen a dog run as fast as
him. He comes charging toward you and you think he's going to run you down.
At the last second, he whizzes by you and starts another lap. He likes to sit
at the top of the stairs and see outside through a small window on the front
door. Oh yes - and Lucky can tell time. If you're sitting on the sofa
watching TV, he will come over and start looking at you when it's 5 o'clock.
It's the funniest thing. If you don't respond, he starts nudging you. He's
very fond of ear rubs. Don't stop or he'll keep lifting your arm with his
head. He also likes bellyrubs (don't all dogs?). We have a picnic table in
the back yard that we shortened the legs on. He gets up there and stretches
out to sunbathe sometimes. I've included a few more photos of him.
Lucky is a great ball catcher. He likes you to chase him for it, but he
readily gives it back once you have him. He likes riding in my Jeep and my
husband Rocky's '55 Chevy pick up truck.
His favorite chew item is chicken or peanut butter rawhide twists. He's the
best.
