This
is Rowdy, a one-year-old pit bull who was brought into our family at
four months and fit in right away. We got him from my work (which happens
to be a vet's office), he was brought to them as a stray. After time went
by and nobody claimed him, we decided to bring him home. He has a partner
in crime named Rukus, who is a pit bull mix and they do live up to their
names. We also have a Chihuahua named Spankie that keeps them in check.
Rowdy absolutely loves to run on the beach with his best bud Rukus, he
loves splashing in the water and swimming all over the place. He doesn't
quite know what to do when the waves roll in, so he bites at the water and
runs away. I think that one of the best parts of adopting a dog is
exposing them to all the joys of life that they have never experienced
before and seeing their reactions. Our Rukus boy is a rescue as well, and
we loved watching his personality bloom.
