Bunker
is a very playful, loving dog. He interacts with dogs, however, he
prefers being around people in particular, his family. He has three
"sisters," a "mom" and a "dad." He acts like a person sometimes with his
unique expressions when we come in from a day at school or work. His face
glows when he sees his family. When we open the back trunk of our car he
jumps in to join us for our trip on the road or in town. He is a wonderful
companion. He loves to run around in the backyard, especially, when the
seasons change. Bunker "catches" snowballs, falling leaves, squirrels,
chipmunks in addition to his every day toys. Bunker enjoys running with his
"dad" and walking with his "mom". He is 68 pounds and young, so he needs a lot
of exercise to keep him fit. When it's summertime he loves going to
the Beach while swimming the "dog paddle" in the ocean and bay. He loves to
retrieve his floating fish in the bay. Also, when he sees ducks he tries to
catch up to them. We all know that ducks are very fast!!
Bunker loves to give kisses and he likes it when people pet him. He also
likes being rubbed on his belly. We got Bunker at Cape Elizabeth, Maine. He
was the only boy in the family. Bunker is very smart and he likes to
retrieve baseballs. He is really good at running to get his toys. When
people come in the house he runs to the door and jumps on them in a good
way! When someone opens his ear and blows air in it, he kisses you on the
face. Bunker is very hyper around Emily, being the youngest (almost ten
years old) of the three sisters. She gives him lots of affection and
reward. Bunker tackles his Dad and sniffs his Mom's legs when she pets a
different dog. Bunker really likes paper and sticks. Sometimes at the
dinner table, Bunker jumps up and gets someone's napkin! When he hears
someone open the treat jar, he comes right to it and they give it to him.
Bunker's favorite game is tug of war! He always wins when he plays with Emily.
Bunker is the Best Retriever Ever!! Just look at the pictures and you will agree!!
