Hello!
My name is Hunter and I am a one-year-old Catahoula. My human brother
named me because of my coloring - it looks like cammo. I have been told that
I was picked from many wonderful dogs from a humane society in Indiana. I was
sitting there so nicely, when my human brother looked down and said "mom how
about this one". It was love at first sight!! I did so good on the way home.
I think it was across the country because it took forever to get home. But I
slept on my new mom's lap all the way home. When I woke up, I had to use the
bathroom really bad, so I let them know by making noise. Thankfully, I did
not mess in the car or on my mom's lap!! When we finally got home, I was
awake and full of energy!! As soon as we got home and my older sister saw me,
she decided to not come around me for a few days.
Now I am one years old and still act like a puppy. I do have a older sister
(Lucky) that I keep on her toes. We love to play outside!! My favorite
thing to do is run, run, run. I also do like to herd things, like Lucky (my
sister). I don't hurt her, I just run circles. I am still learning
commands. I do know sit, stay, lay, speak and paw. I am still learning
other stuff. Oh I also love to howl at the fire truck siren. No
matter what time it is. My mom doesn't like it when I do it at 2:00 in the
morning though. I think it is because I am in the house and I might wake
everyone up.
I love my Family and don't know what I would have done without them. They are
the best!!
