This
is my sweet Lhasa Apso dog Snoefie. I got him when he was three months old,
and when I saw him for the first time I was instantly in love. He was way
bigger than his brothers and sisters, and he wobbled straight towards me, a
round ball of fluff, and we have been inseparable ever since.
He has a very thick fur coat, so I have him trimmed every three months or so, but
because he gets chilly easily, I bought him some cute coats, and he just loves
them! When I tell him, "Go get your blue coat," he runs towards it, takes it in
his mouth, and runs towards me with it, all happy and jumping.
His favorite toy is his 'bunny,' which actually is a plush elephant, but he
knows it as his 'bunny.' He is very cautious towards strangers, as Lhasa
Apsos are supposed to be, but if someone starts playing with him and his
'bunny,' they're usually friends pretty quickly.
I love my Snoefie so very much, because he fills in a huge gap in my life.
Before I had the sweetest cat ever, Nicky, who followed me around like a
puppy. Unfortunately she died about six years ago of cancer, and it left a
cat-shaped hole in my heart. I never expected this hole to be filled again,
until I found Snoefie!
We also consider Snoefie more or less our five-year-old 'son,' because my husband
and I cannot have any children. You can imagine, all in all, that Snoefie is
the light of our life!
