Kodiak
is a very special man because about two months ago he started to really
hang around me. He would constantly keep hitting me with his paw, he was
bringing me his toys this got to the point that I had no personal space and
would actually cry. I told someone at my work about Kodiak acting this way and
they asked me "are you pregnant?" "That's ridiculous," I told my coworker "I
can't be pregnant," but with his constant following me and hitting me with his
paw I figured he was never going to let up so I called the doctor made a
appointment just in case he was trying to tell me something, and Iam now four
months pregnant. I never knew a dog could predict a pregnancy but my special
Kodiak sure can!
Kodiak is truely a affectionate dog, very sweet and very loving. On a normal
day you can find him chewing on his bones and racing the neighbor dogs up and
down the fence line. He's also a charmer when it comes to the ladies, any time
he's out and about with us he's just has to stop and get loved on by all the
women. He loves attention but is also the biggest show off you could imagine!
He has his own little kiddie pool that he'll run and jump into - I think he
would really benefit from a slip-n-slide! But we have to beware around big pools
be =cause Kodiak enjoys taking a dip. He loves doing tricks for treats, he can
circle, sit, high five and when I tell him to "hit the rock" he takes his nose
and hits it on my fist. But sometimes he gets ahead of himself and starts
doing tricks without anyone telling him to just to see if he can sneak a treat
or two.
Even though he doesn't have a favorite game, he sure does enjoy playing with
his Chihuahua mix sister and throwing his stuffed animal he knows by "piggy".
One last thing about Kodiak is he's very intelligent! He's actually learning
how to spell! He knows the words bed and potty, even when they are spelled out
completely and he can actually open doors by turning the knobs with his paws
which is why all doors must now be locked in our house! Again, I know everyone
thinks their dogs are the most special dogs but every dog is special to
someone :) and Kodiak is very special to me.
