This
dog is sooo special because I haven't had a dog in about 25 years.
The last dog I had was the best - a pekinese who did absolutely
everything perfectly, with the one exception of shedding dreadfully. We
had to put her to sleep about thirteen years later, and it was the
hardest thing ever. So I didn't want another dog for a very long time,
and I thought it was nice not to be tied down as I have gotten older and
travel a lot. After I retired, I began dog sitting my childhood friend's
poodle/bichon when they traveled and I got the itch again.
I discovered Angel on the Internet and here she was, up in Northern Wisconsin
in the same town where my daughter lived and she looked perfect from her
picture. I was leery; but, she is perfect. She is so quiet, I never know she
is around. She does not shed. She is trained. Mostly she just wants to sit
on your lap for t.v., on the couch if we are busy, and at the end of our bed
for sleeping at night. She travels so well - we can take her anywhere and it
becomes her home until we leave. When we get home, she bounds around the
house rolling on the carpeting, jumps up on the couch, down, then upstairs on
the bed, then bounces back down stairs again. She never jumps into her dog
dish as I'm putting food into it, as other dogs usually do. She does not beg
at the table for food... the dog I babysit for had jumped up and stolen my
steak right off the bread in front of me, plus numerous other things! Angel,
like her name, is just as perfect as she first appeared, and we love her.
