Stella
is the life of our family right now. She is a smart, playful,
affectionate, part of our family. Sometimes I think she is smarter then the
rest us the humans living in the household. She is the most playful girl in
the world, most days. When she wants to be alone, she will let you know. She
thinks she is a lab sometimes when it comes to eating. We have to let her
know that she actually only weighs nine pounds, though.
She absolutely loves the summer time. She loves going on the dock and sipping
on a cocktail, enjoying the sunset, and most of all, going for a boat ride!
She gets together every weekend with her brother Teddy. He is much bigger
than her because she was the runt of the litter. He is also brown and she is
apricot. He is a typical boy, rambunctious and active. Stella is more quiet,
and reserved. She has her playful moments, but prefers to be more "clingy"
with her family members.
Stella has a very good life, living in Pennsylvania year round, and also
living in Maryland in the summer times on the Sassafras River.
We used to be Boxer lovers then our family discovered our daughter was
allergic to dogs. My husband found out that Poodles were less allergenic and
brought one home at eight weeks old, she was 2 1/2 pounds. I was never a Poodle lover,
but when I saw Stella, I just knew I had to learn to love them. Well, it took
about one week and it was all over. I was pure mush! She is the love of my
(our) lives.
