This
is Roxy, she's a longhair chihuahua. Roxy is only ten weeks old but she
has a lot of spunk already, she loves to play with her toys, she really likes
a toy spider that her grandma gave her. She likes her belly rubbed and her
back scratched. She falls a sleep on her back cradled in your arms like a
baby, she's a real sweetheart. I believe she thinks she America's Next Top
Model the way she poses for the camera.
She's not my first Chihuahua she's my third, we had another, a shorthair we
had for twelve years. Ginger was my sweet baby girl - she was one of those
that was always there wherever you were, she passed away about a month ago of
pyometra (uterus infection). She died hours after surgery, and it broke our
hearts. We have our Hannah she's a shorthair chihuahua, blue in color, and
she is nine years old, she's a little antisocial she is totally happy on her
pillow in our room, unless we are in the kitchen.
Roxy is my first longhair chihuahua, we decided on her because we really
loved her mom, her mom is so sweet and affectionate, and so far Roxy is the
same way and very playful, my other girls didn't play with toys Roxy is
already fetching balls, now she doesn't let you have it back just yet, but
she'll learn! We've only had Roxy for a short time, but she is such a sweet
baby, we're already very much attached. She barks at her toys when you play
with her sometimes.
She's just under four pounds now at seven months old. She has learned how to
howl, and she does it when I do it, and she does that talking thing. She
won't sit on the hard floor - only a blanket or carpet is good enough for her
little bottom. She loves to play with all her toys. She has a mouse that has
a pull string and she will hold it down and pull the string. If you hide her
toy under the blanket she will scratch at it and if she can't get to it she
will howl! She has a foot fetish - she will lick your toes if you let her.
She is a real sweetheart.
