Sandy
likes to watch tv, especially Animal Planet. When she sees an
animal on tv she barks at it and jumps up and down trying to bite it.
Sometimes you will even hear her teeth clink on the tv screen.
Sandy is very independent. She is deaf and only hears when you clap your hands
but she always seems to hear the food pantry door open. She gets a pill three
times a day and as soon as she sees the roast beef come out of the fridge (we
put her pill in the meat) she runs outside. She has now gotten into the habit
of taking the pill as far as the doggy door, spitting it out and jumping
through the door. She loves to go in the car and has her own seat in the back
behind the passenger seat. She also had various "spots" that are hers in the
house and if there is someone or something in her spot she will look at you
and "ask" you to move it. If you ask her if she loves you, she will give you a
kiss but she will make a scrunchy face. And if you kiss her on the cheek, she
will sneeze. She will keep doing that for about four kisses and then she will
bark at you. She is the smallest and the oldest dog of three in the house but
she is the boss.
