Jetta
has a lot of personality, and can really show it through facial
expressions -- she's not afraid to let you know when she's not impressed. She
loves to be around people and grab their attention, which she's very good at.
She also loves to watch television, no matter whats on, and is a pretty lazy
dog, but is always up for an adventure or trip. Very smart and still
learning, Jetta can obey the slightest hand commands and is even trusted off
leash when we go to get the mail together - she's even currently learning to
sing. She loves to climb into laps, even though she's a bit heavy for that
(or maybe I'm just small) and still growing. A real character, Jetta can get
crazy hyper at times, wildly thrashing on the living room carpet or urging
someone to chase her while they're holding her arch-enemy the "giant plastic
horse" that invades her territory (still not sure if she's aware the horse
isn't real yet). She is also a water dog, she loves to play in water or swim,
it's one of her favorite things to do (though she's not allowed back to the
beach because she eats the salt water).
She comes with challenges, but it's all a big learning experience for dog and
owner. I've never met another dog like her.
