Ursula
is an Australian Shepherd mix, and her coloring is the blue merle
variety. My dog and I live in Fort Worth, Texas, in the United States.
And last but not least, Ursula is special because she chews on everything
and is not afraid of water, nor snow. My mother kept a bucket of water
full of fish; the fish she had transferred to a pond, but the bucket
remained full of water. And one day Ursula just jumped in the bucket and
had a grand old time getting wet and messy. She chews up couch cushions on
the back porch gliders and parades them around the yard quite proudly, but
our family still loves her. There was also a rare snowstorm in Fort Worth
in February, during which she was having so much fun playing, she did not
want to come inside even for supper.
I try to take her on walks and play with her to ease her boredom. As we
all know, a tired puppy is a good puppy!
