Millie
is three years old and is a Jack Russell Terrier living in London,
England. She has been through so much and nearly died at six months old. Millie
is the sweetest dog with the most affectionate nature in the world. She is very
intelligent and talks all the time, she can hold a ball in her front paws like
they are hands, she lives with her two brothers Roly the Labrador (ten) and Arlo
the Patterdale Terrier (eighteen) and is deaf when Millie knows is breakfast
time I tell her to go and get Arlo because he can't hear me calling him so she
goes to his bed and takes the covers off and nudges him to and talks to him to
get out of bed and come for his food.
As I mentioned she nearly died at six months old when she got parvo virus
despite being vaccinated . She was in hospital for three weeks and they always
gave her a hot pad to sleep on and now she won't go to bed without her hot water
bottle (picture attached) , Last year she had an accident whilst playing with
her brother Roly and she broke her leg in four places and now has a metal leg,
she spent another month away from home at an orthopaedic vet. I included a
picture of her having hydrotherapy.
Despite all her medical problems she still adores the vet and she has been very
brave. And the best thing about Millie is that she brings a smile to everyone's
face that meets her. She is very loving and shows no fear of anyone.
