My
name is Eldora, but everyone calls me "Ellie." I live with my Mom and Dad
at North Ranch, in Congress, AZ. I am very attached to my Dad and follow him
everywhere. He treats me like the princess I was always meant to be. During
most days, I stay home with Mom and keep her company while Dad goes off to
work. I love squeaky toys, but they have to be small because my mouth is so
tiny. I only bark a lot when the kitty cats are in the yard and when the
coyotes come too close to our fence. Mom and Dad sleep with me in my big bed,
but sometimes I have to nip at Mom if she tries to pull me out of the covers.
I suppose I should be more cooperative, but whose bed does she think it is
anyway?
When Spring-time arrives, Mom and Dad close our home up and we move into our
Winnebago and travel across country to Merrimack, New Hampshire. My favorite
spot to ride is in the front window or up on the back of the couch. It's so
fun to watch all the cars go by. I get all excited when we finally arrive at
my best buddy, Finnegan's
house. He is always pleased to see me and we hang out together in the back
yard and visit each other all summer long. Finnegan thought I should be
Dog of the Day, because I make everyone so happy.
