This
is my beautiful dog Annie. She's about nine years old and the greatest. My
parents got her for their first anniversary (hence the name "Annie").
I remember when our parents surprised us kids with a little one-year-old
puppy. We trampled down the stairs and saw those big brown eyes. She was kind
of shy at the beginning, but now she's very outgoing - when she's awake.
Annie has the sweetest temperament ever. Visitors just rave and rave about how
sweet and happy she is. She likes to play sometimes, but usually she'll follow
you around and lie around your feet and be lazy. She has a cute worried or
confused look with these little eyebrows, too. I swear she has an alarm clock
in her because every day at about 2:30, she starts following me around since I
feed her every day.
She loves to have her ears and tummy rubbed. If you stop petting her when she
wants more, she will politely paw at your wrist and pull your hand back to her
for more petting and love. Once she's done, she'll give you a quick kiss on
the hand, almost rewarding you for a good well done. She likes to sleep on
big shoes too - since those are the only things that lie around on the floor
our house.
Annie is amazing. I'm sure I'll never have another dog like her ever. I love
my sister so much. She is and always will be in my heart, forever.
