Hi,
my name is Abby. In this picture I was very young - only five months old.
And I had just gotten out of the hospital. I got Parvo and almost died. But
my very alert mom took me to the hospital when she noticed I wasn't playing.
I was there for two weeks with IV's and other medicine. My mom is a teacher
so she had the summers off and she came to see me three times a day! She wanted
me to know I wasn't alone - she would sit and talk to me. And it worked!
Now I am eight months old and very healthy. I am bigger, too. I have three
shih-tzus for brothers and sisters and even though I am a lot bigger than them
- we all love and play very nicely with each other!
