Hi,
I'm Shelbert, but my mom calls be Shelbie. I think I'm around four years
old, but I'm not 100% sure. I'm a short-haired Chihuahua. My mom got me from a
woman who took me to the vet to have me put down. That woman was really mad at
me because I wet on her floor, after she left me alone all day long! Luckily
my mom happened to be at the vet at the same time that woman was there, or I
would be toast. My mom said she would take me until she found me a new home,
but I am much too sweet for her to ever give me to anyone else. I have lived
with my mom for almost three years now, and have never had one accident. I
love it when my mom carries me around, and I love it when I sit on mom's lap. I
sleep right next to her every night under the covers.
I don't really know any games, besides being cute, but I really love toys,
especially ones that squeak. I like playing with my brother, Cody, who is a
long-haired Chihuahua. We chase each other around the house. I love wearing
clothes in the winter time. It can get pretty cold in Iowa. One of my favorite
things to do when it's warm is to go to the off-leash dog park. They have a
special area for little dogs, but I like the area where the big dogs are. They
are so fun to chase. I like most people, but love my mom the most.
