About Us
Milo, the Dog of the Day
Name: Milo
Age: Four years old
Gender: Male Breed: German Shorthaired Pointer
Home: Lancashire, UK

This is a picture of our German Shorthaired Pointer, Milo. He is the first GSP we've had. Milo is the best dog ever! Apart from Bob, our Golden Retriever who we had before, of course! Milo is always full of beans, he can run and run and run, a bit like Forrest Gump really! He can also jump for England, we're thinking of entering him in the high jump for the 2012 Olympics if they'll have him.

Milo likes plenty of 'contact' with people - he stands between your legs if you are stood in the kitchen cooking. He just stands there until you move or fall over him. He is quite a skinny dog, we are increasing his food at the moment because we can't seem to put any weight on him and you can see his ribs, frightened the RSPCA may approach us whilst out walking! But he is a very happy dog. He is also a bit of a wuss, when he meets other dogs on his daily walks, he sits down on his belly in a submissive position, just in case the other dog may eat him alive. It never happens. He will then either play or run off in the opposite direction at speed!

His girlfriend is a black Labrador called Stella who he sees on his morning walk every day. His other best friend is a black Labrador called Harvey, he is his best pal. We go on holiday together and he goes on sleepovers to Harvey's house if we ever go away without him, which isn't very often!
