Monkey
is so special to us because my wife and I had to put our
ten-year-old Pomeranian (Hopper) to sleep last September for poor health
issues. And we kept saying the last year or two that we did not want any
more pets after Hopper, but you know, it only took us two to three days
without one running around the house and no one to greet you when you come
home to break our hearts.
We saw in the local paper that there were some Pomeranian puppies who
would be ready for adoption the beginning of October so we went to look at
them and we fell in love with this little (or should I say) "big"
guy. I say big because there were six puppies to his litter and he for
some reason stuck out to Lisa and I. Out of the six he was the biggest and
I Immediately named him "Chunky Monkey."
I keep telling Lisa that Hopper sent him to me because I see so much of
his behavior being like Hopper's. Monkey is so gentle and loving! He loves
to be held and cuddled and he will fall asleep right in your arms. He
loves doing all the things that puppies do and when he does do something
"bad" and we scold him he kinda pouts and has that look like "I'm sorry,
now pick me up and love me." Lisa and I actually went for double the
trouble because we purchased Monkey's little sister also and we named her
Grace's Amazing Touch (but we call her Gracie). Since last October my and
Lisa's life have been so enriched with this guy in our lives!
