Hello,
this is Megan. She is our "cool chick" who loves to travel in the
car, play ball, and sit in the yard. Here she is attending Dog Fest in
Mason, Ohio. She was the "fashion statement" at the show.
Megan sits on the deck, in the yard, or on the putting green in our yard
and watches people, ducks and events of the environment. The yard backs up
to a golf course so she has lots of activity to spy on. We call her our
big "busybody" as she just sits and watches in silence.
She is quite the traveler too. We take her to Florida for a month or two
each year. We all pack up in the van and take off. She has a special hat
and scarf with Florida scenes on them. There she enjoys two to three walks a day
and going to art shows; of course with her hat and scarf. People stop and
ask to take her picture all the time.
Megan loves kids. Our neighbors on both sides thank us for having a dog
... then they don't have to have one. Megan is a great tennis ball
catcher. The kids throw the ball and Megan runs and catches it, returns,
and drops it at their feet. This goes on for 30 minutes at a time. When
she finally gets tired, she catches the ball, one more time, and "plop"
lays down, flat belly with legs stretched out. Just like she is saying "OK
kids - time out."
Megan is our 6th dog. She has a great personality, is very playful, smart,
and a really devoted friend. When she wants something she goes to it and
sits and looks at it then at you. Yes, even when she wants to lay in my
lap. We love her very much!!!
