Let
me introduce Ku Uaki! Ku Uaki is a hawaiian name meaning "Guardian",
and let me tell you, he is his name. Ku Uaki used to be the only baby,
and has been a total ham for the camera from the beginning too! Around
the time Ku Uaki turned one we brought home a cat, and Ku Uaki loved him
instantly.The two would run around the house for hours chasing and
playing with each other... not just the house though... even the cat
box. Ku Uaki loved to grace the cat box with his kingly presence!
About twelve months ago I found out I was pregnant, and Ku Uaki has breezed
this hurdle with flying colors. The ever protective big brother, he
loves to lay near his new little sister, and is quick to alert mom and
dad whenever the baby cries. So he lives up to his name in every way!
He is a highly-energetic dog, who loves tug-o-war, and doing tricks.
Among his favorite tricks are sit-pretty, and bow though he knows many
more.
He is a fabulous big brother, always sitting two or three feet away from
his new little sister, making sure she isn't getting into any trouble. I
have to commend him on his patient with her also, as he allows her to
use him as a pillow. The ever loving big-brother, he just turns around
and looks at her.
