Ike
is a three-year-old Border Terrier. Of his original litter, he was the
timid one of the bunch - always hiding underneath chairs and last in line
for the milk. And so when we brought him home, he was so skittish that it
was hard to coax him out of his kennel for over a week!
Well, Ike's really come out of his shell since. He now "rules" the
neighborhood! His favorite things are: grilled salmon, running after
rabbits, and chasing his best friend, Denali (an American Eskimo) around
the yard. While he's become quite the precocious pup, he's also developed
into the most loving, compassionate, and loyal pet. We can't imagine life
without him!
