This
handsome boy is Hank, he's an English Springer Spaniel. Hank came
to live with us on December 26, 2005. Approximately, one year ago, he
was rescued by MidSouth Springer Rescue. He and a female Springer had
been chained in a yard outside Charleston, SC. Hank was emaciated and
covered with ticks and fleas, resulting in serious skin infections. He
also had a large hematoma on his ear.
That all seems like a long time ago, and he certainly looks like a
different dog now. He is the most mellow, wonderful dog, playful, loving
and intelligent. He enjoys his two rescued English Setter sisters and
chasing squirrels. This is the life a Springer should have, he says! He
is happy and healthy to the max, and we smile every time he walks in the room.
