My
dog's name is Suze. She a is 23 month old beagle who lives in
Cathedral City (next door to Palm Springs), CA. The kitten is unnamed.
What makes Suze special is that she is such a loving animal. If she ever
senses that I am having a bad day or having a stressful time, she will
come right up and give me kisses, loves, and demands hugs. She goes to
work with me every day to keep the other employees happy.
About a month before this photo was taken, Suze found four four-week old
kittens that were abandoned by their mother in my back yard. Suze did
everything but nurse these kittens to health. While I was feeding the
kittens with an eye dropper, she would make sure the kittens didn't
stray. She would pick them up by their neck or paw and drag them to the
water and food, let the kittens knead her stomach, all the while she is
continually giving them bathes and loving.
This is not a staged picture. Just prior to the picture being
taken, Suze had this kitten chewing on her big floppy ears. So when she
was positioning the kitten to put under her paw, I grabbed the camera to
snap this picture.
